Every dog is different. Sometimes behaviours such as fear, anxiety, reactivity, guarding, handling concerns or changes in behaviour need further investigation before training begins.


My behaviour support service starts by looking at your dog's history, health, environment, routines and the circumstances surrounding the behaviour.


Rather than jumping straight into training, we'll first work out the most appropriate next step for you and your dog.

Behaviour support starts with understanding the whole picture. Before making recommendations, I will learn about your dog, your concerns and their history so we can identify the safest and most appropriate next steps.

Behaviour Screening 💻


After completing the questionnaire, book a 30-minute online Behaviour Screening.


We'll discuss your concerns in more detail and decide whether I am the right person to support you and your dog.

Assessment & Next Steps 🏠


If I'm the right person to support you and your dog, the next stage may be a home behaviour assessment.


This allows me to observe your dog in their normal environment, gather further information and determine the most appropriate way forward.


Following the assessment, I'll explain my recommendations. These may include private 1:1 training, management changes, veterinary investigation or referral to another appropriately qualified professional.

Behaviour is communication.


Fear, barking, lunging, guarding, difficulty settling or changes in behaviour can have many contributing factors.


Your dog's environment, previous experiences, health, routines and the situations in which the behaviour occurs can all be important pieces of the picture.


Together, we'll explore what may be contributing to your dog's behaviour. This helps me determine what support may be appropriate and whether further veterinary or specialist input should be considered.
